Christian Olympics

The Olympics are coming up.  As athletes these girls, boys, women and men train and train and train for an event that happens once every four years!  What are they competing for?  A medal - one of 3 highly coveted medals.  Becoming a gold medalist in the Olympics is definitely not something that just anyone can achieve.  It takes a trained athlete.

Wouldn’t it be fun if there were a way that we could experience the Olympics in our everyday life?  One that would nurture our faith?  Well, there is a special event coming up!  It is called the Christian Olympics.

I know what you are saying to yourself - I have never heard of the Christian Olympics.  Well, I hadn’t either.  I was asked to help review the program and I must say it was so much easier than I anticipated!  The activities done through out this special event will help you grow in your faith and in wellness.  Here’s the great thing.  It’s FREE!  Not only is it FREE, but you will also be able to win some great prizes.

Okay, so what is all of this about.  You will use a super cute website (Mindbloom) to create your tree of life.  You will be doing different small events over the 12 day special event that will help your tree grow.  You will do the activity (it only takes a few minutes) and report your activity on the Christian Olympics Facebook page.  The activities are based in nutrition, relationships and faith.  You will be able to encourage other athletes and be encouraged as you work through the events.

You are excited - and you should be.  The Christian Olympics are going to be great with just the free activities, but you get a chance to win stuff too!  So watch this video and sign up.  I want to encourage you during the games!  Go sign up now!
