What's New Wednesday #3

This is not something that is new … I am exhausted.

We have been short staffed – we were short staffed before we had 2 people quit. So things have been a little crazy at work. We have moved and we are getting settled in our apartment. My Jamberry business has been super busy with the launch of a new catalog. To be honest the thing that seems to be taking the biggest setback is actually my Teachers Pay Teachers store. I am so thankful that the sales keep coming in without much (any) new things posted in a while.

I do have quite a few things about ready to post. I have updates for the All About Me bundle about ready. I have gears and robot updates loaded to the bundle, but not the single products. I am updating my apples products and about to add to my pumpkin product lines. So there is a lot coming down the pike. I am excited to get them up and ready for you all.

Pretty excited that Halloween products are already starting to sell too!  What do you have going on? Link up your newest item below. You can link up one paid product and one free product. I love it when people also link up their newest blog post.

What's New Wednesday: Link Up

Good Morning Lovlies!

I hope you have had a wonderful week. What's New in your world this Wednesday?

Newest in our world - Hickman #1 will be working from home - eek. I am not sure if I mentioned it but once again he was looking for a job. Seriously we have had the worst luck lately. He has been looking for about 5 weeks this time. I am really hoping (praying actually) that this is the last one.

Funny how God likes to show us He is listening. I have started writing our prayers, things we need on a post it or paper and putting it in my bible. This is exactly what I wrote "God we need Keith to get a job, a career really, that can take care of this family - in abundance. Thank you for all you do." The next day he was offered the job that he accepted. IF it is what they say, it is well in abundance. If it is HALF what they claim it is still more than what we need. If it is 1/4 of what they say it is we are covered . I am hopeful. Next week will show us much more.

What's New on Teachers Pay Teachers and Teachers Notebook?

Teachers Pay Teachers
Teachers Notebook

This is my newest Freebie.. It is a sample of the Bugs, Bugs, Glorious Bugs bundle. It has a little something from most of the resources in the bugs and insect bundle.

I have taken the Bugs and Insects bundle and split it into 8 packets if you are looking for just a portion.  Remember, bundles are 30% off purchasing all the portions individually.

Thank you to all of you who linked up last week! I got so busy that I wasn't even really able to promote it at all. We had over 30 link ups!

Now it's your turn! What's New in your world?

This link up is for your newest products (1 paid, 1 free - TPT or TN) and/or your newest blog post.

Can't wait to check them out!

10 Things ...

Yep, I had a birthday - and I didn’t do much about it on the blog. I think most of you would make a better stink about it than my extended family did.

1. My daddy is always the second person to tell me happy birthday. Hubs has him beat every year (now). If I am not called by 10am on my birthday I am worried about him.

2. My all time favorite cheeseburger comes from “The Works” in Loveland, Ohio.

3. The dessert pizza there is AMAZING!

(I decided my birthday present this year was doing NO kitchen work of any kind - and no house cleaning. Went to a restaurant for it all instead of meal then dessert.)

4. I have learned that I may never actually sleep through the night, ever again.

5. I have tons of friends that like to use Facebook to wish you a happy birthday. Which I love people taking time to wish me a happy birthday.

6. I miss personal contact on your birthday. This is why we sent a video to our friend and babysitter on her birthday.

7. I really miss getting cards on my birthday now that my grandparents have passed.

8. My kids are going to be great gift givers - they already put their heart in their gifts they give. Even if it is just a colored picture from the coloring book.

9. I would rather spend my birthday with my Hickman Five than anyone else.

10. 37 will be better than 36 -- it has to be.

What's New Wednesday #8

I am in a bit of funk the last few weeks. I am sure it has to do with us all being sick at some point and time over the last three weeks and now Hubsy has caught it.

One would think that I wouldn't be in such a funk with my birthday on Saturday but I just can't shake it. I get this way when I am trying to get tons of stuff accomplished and not really focusing. I should take that as a sign I need to refocus.

Since I am in a funk and need some inspiration I have a different kind of post today.

I am currently developing a Robot Unit.

How cute is this little guy from Make Do Friend?

Or these adorable recycling bin collage robots from My Adventures in Positive Space.

I am sure my kiddos would have fun with both of these.

So what is new with you?  Link up below and share it with us all!

Best Seller Saturday #8

Hi all! How are you loving this winter weather? Here in Ohio we have been hit by the white stuff finally this winter. We were able to head out and play in it one time because to accompany the white stuff we are getting hit with Arctic temperatures. Makes for 2 not so happy little people in this house. Today we are getting blasted again. I will take it over our dear friends in New England any day.

So what are we here for today! to babble and rabble? ... YES! Nah just kidding. It is time for Best Seller Saturday.  I took a look over my sales this week. I have sold 1 item of everything that has sold this week.  Not even a double.  :)  Then I looked at revenue - one of the items was higher priced than the rest -- all week I sold only 1 and 1.50 items.  It was just silly!

So this is my best seller this week.

I love this coloring book. My dear friend asked me to make this for her daughter's birthday. I even left the dedication page in the book, so when it is purchased you are also graced with a jelly fish drawing from Little Miss.

You are not going to get all your standard animals in this one. A is for African Elephant instead of Ape.  E is for Emperor Penguin.  N is for Naked Mole Rat.  W is not for walrus, it is for Warty Pig. Many of these animals are inspired from our local zoo. If you purchase this I hope you love it as much as "Baby H" does.

As for my most downloaded freebie this week. It happens to be ...

more coloring pages.  This one was also put together with some little ones in mind. I will send my friends coloring books and resources from time to time. I hadn't done it in a while, so I put together this coloring book and sent it off.  It goes nicely with many winter themes.  Take a look at this feedback that I received on this one.

This is exactly what I go for when I design a coloring book. Simple and Cute.

Coloring books all started when I couldn't find simple enough coloring books for Little Miss when she was younger. These coloring books are truly drawn with 2 and 3 year old's in mind.  Simple enough for young hands, but complex enough for older children to still have fun.

Now it is your turn.  What are your Best Sellers this week.  Link up one paid and one free product below.

What's New Wednesday week 7

We are back! Sick still, but on the mend.

Seeing that we have all been sick over the last 2 weeks (some of us for 4) I haven't really posted anything new.  I am currently working on a Robots Bundle. I am also updating the spring resources.

The latest thing I have finished is updating this Counting Flower Craftivity and File Folder Game.

Here is a peek inside for you!

Kids will put the number of petals on the flower according to the number in the center.  Play as a file folder game or do as a craft. That is up to you! You can get yours here.

Now it's your turn! Can't wait to see What's New in your world!

Workin' It at Home Mama

I had a great time getting my mind off of things going on last week by linking up with "Currently" over on Choose Happy. I decided to link up again this week.

Currently I am developing:

A robot unit! Oh this one is going to be so much fun. It is coming with an A to Z coloring book! It will come with many of the goodies you have come to expect. Hands On Centers, File Folder Games and No Prep Printables.

Currently I am loving:

We made a big investment in my business this weekend. Windows 8 touch screen laptop. It is fast, and wonderful. My brother said the processor is "baller" and it has a whole lotta RAM. I am super happy with it.  You can't tell on this picture, but when I type with it the keyboard lights up. It is pretty, silver and it was under budget! I can not complain.

The best part of this is that my kids don't even realize I am working. I can sit right here by them play with them. When they walk off or drift off to something else I can do a little on the computer. These little bits here and there will really add up at the end of the week.

Currently I am updating:

I am not sure you can see it in the picture there, but this bundle is 479 pages! I want to get it up to snuff as stuff for Spring is starting to sell.  This bad boy is full of games, puzzles and activities.

Currently I am reviewing: Crossing Redemption by Carrie Daws

I have already reviewed the first three of this series. I was incredibly blessed to be able to review this entire series.  Come on back on Tell Me About It Tuesday to read all about it.

Check out all the other bloggers and what they are currently doing over at Choose Happy.

Best Seller Saturday #6

It is that time of the week again!

It is not shocking to me that my best seller this week is a Valentine's Day product.  I am really happy with the way that it turned out.

Here it is.

Although I have not starting using this with kids yet (we are using it next week!) I do have a peek inside for you.

This lovely pack has 61 printable black and white pages.  It includes 2 emergent readers and worksheets for math, literacy development and pre-science skills.  The preview of this product has 5 freebies in it for your sampling needs.

My most downloaded Freebie is a sample of the Hands on Learning for Valentine Centers.

This is the Heart Pattern File Folder Game from the Hands On Mini Bundle.  {Blog Post coming soon}

ThrowBack Thursday Week 5W

Regardless of the team you were cheering for on Sunday your emotions ran the gamete!

Were you biting your nails? Praying? Sitting on the edge of your seat? (look at those eyes!)

Screaming touchdown? -- Little Miss at 13 months.  :)

Did that really just happen?  (December 2013)

We had it all in our house.

We were cheering for the Seahawks - even though we didn't really want either team to win.  I was looking forward to the halftime show and the commercials.  I am also glad that the game itself was exciting.

So with that let's bring on #TBTwithTPT.

What are you going to share with us this week? Me -- My sports unit.  I did just update the cover, but this one has been here for a little bit.

It has lots of different sports in this unit. 27 different activities -- Hands On and No Prep.

Your turn. Oldie but goodie! No theme this week.  :) 1 paid, 1 free.

Throwback Thursday week 4

My goal is to have these ready much earlier than the night before - this week, I am just glad to get a few minutes to get it done.

Lately I have been sharing an event or story that goes along with what I am posting. To be honest, I just don't have the gumption for it today. Cleaning up 4 pukes and dealing with dehydration can do that to you.

I am going to dust off an oldie but a goodie and share it.

Here it is.

It has an old cover and everything!  :)

This is actually one of my favorite units.  TONS of Hands On activities and centers. So colorful and has black and white options for everything. It is on the list to be revamped and updated, but that will be a little down the road.

Your turn! Pull something off the shelf that has been there for a while.

Link Up your oldies, but goodies below - 1 paid, 1 free.

How about some themes this week!

1. President's Day
2. Ground Hog Day
3. Valentine's Day
4. Spring
5. Weather

#TBT Linky Party Week 1

#TBT Linky Party

What's with all this lingo? #TBT is Throw Back Thursday. Many people will share an old picture on social media and tag it #TBT.  What are we doing with our Linky Party?

This Linky Party will be a little different than the ones we have other days.  Link up a blog post from the archives. Or if it is a new post the theme will be listed.

I also want us to be able to share our products. #TBT Linky Party will pull a product from the past and share it here.

Be sure to link you post in the right place.

Today's Theme: Holiday in Review. I know that we just finished up "The Holidays" but if you are anything like me life gets crazy and there are just things that you missed or didn't blog about. Pick a holiday from the past (new post or a post from the past) and link it up here.

This past Mother's Day I surprised my mom with a visit. For some reason she had a feeling we were coming. Must be the fact she has been a mom for almost 37 years.

First road trip just me and both kids.

With our zoo pass we were able to get 50% discount at the zoo in Milwaukee.

Mold-a-rama's - this place has not changed.

Digging on Grandpa

Food Poisoning

Park Play

This was one of the first products I posted.  I have recently updated since I have found ways to make the products better.

This is a Flip and Find game. Penguins and Fish A to Z are included in color and black and white, upper and lower case.
